    Rare and Unreleased
-Rare and unreleased original demo of my song 'Anything'
    -Live recordings from Facebook Live
-Copies of the original handwritten lyrics
    -Personal notes about each song
    -Album cuts Memphis Soul style
-Each single: Pay what you want

Included is a rare and unreleased recorded demo version of Anything. If you're like me and really geek out over getting to hear the process and transformation of a song, this is for you!
There are Facebook live solo versions of the songs and 2 album cuts as well. For those who have only heard the solo thang, I wanted to include the recorded version because they represent so much what I love about writing music. I am completely in love with classic Soul music. I love the call and answer harmonies, weaving of strings, interesting guitar licks, and some good feeling vibes. It is exactly what I have set out to bring forth in my recordings.
Also included are the handwritten copies of the lyrics for each song with a personal side note.
    Check it out!
I appreciate you buying the music! I look forward to hearing from you!

Ugly Pretty Face words and music by: Lisa Marshall The way I used to think and so I’m here The brokest I’ve ever been yet rich in my discovery Here in this world there’s so much beauty I can’t keep on pushing When the stillness is what heals me I’m too young to know better There is solace in the retreat I know longer fear or hide it I’m changing faith in it’s place I accept that only I can change Still some days I feel so strange In that mask, in that veil My ugly pretty face Maybe it’s to be expected Smiled upon and accepted Closest to perfection or just my own perception And still so contradicted There is solace in the retreat I know longer fear or hide it I’m changing faith in it’s place I accept that only I can change Still some days I feel so strange In that mask, in that veil My ugly pretty face Funny how we see ourselves Judging every line People all around us they can see we’re doing fine My pretty, pretty face I no longer fear Pretty, pretty face No longer hide it Pretty, pretty face

Lisa Marshall is a singer/songwriter based in Austin, TX. “The cocktail that is her music (a funky, soulful blues) can’t really be called fusion, but more of a stirred mow-town mixer. Lisa Marshall is on the fast track of positioning herself as one Austin’s staple female artists.” -Steven Blythe, Austin Post
